Account and data deletion

In Teko, deletion is done by you, inside the app, without asking anyone and without waiting. This page exists to explain what each option removes — and to serve people who no longer have the app installed.

How to delete from the app

Open Settings › Data and privacy › Privacy and your data. There are three levels, and each asks you to type a confirmation word before it runs:

1. Delete training history

Removed: training sessions, sets, loads and repetitions, GPS runs and recorded routes, and the progression derived from them.

Kept: your profile, your plan, your check-ins and wellbeing records. Deleting what you did is not deleting who you are.

2. Delete app data

Removed: everything Teko stores about you — profile, workouts, plans, check-ins, wellbeing, measurements, supplements, cycle, preferences, and your conversations with the assistant. The app returns to the start, like a fresh install.

Kept: only your account, still signed in, so you can start over without logging in again.

3. Delete all data and the account

Removed: everything from the previous option, plus the credentials stored on the device and any scheduled reminders. In addition, Teko revokes the access you granted to your Google account — after that it no longer appears among the apps with access at myaccount.google.com.

Kept: nothing.

If you already uninstalled the app

There is nothing to do: Teko is local-first and keeps no copy of your data on any server. Uninstalling removes the encrypted database along with the app. There is no server-side account to close, because there is no server holding your history.

If you only want to revoke your Google account's access without reinstalling the app, do it at myaccount.google.com/permissions, removing Teko from the list.

Timing and reversibility

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period, no recycle bin, and no cloud copy to restore from — not even the developer can recover it. If you want to keep your history before deleting, create an encrypted backup in Settings › Data and privacy › Backup and restore; the file is protected by a password only you know.

Data these actions do not delete

Records that do not belong to Teko stay where they are and are managed by whoever holds them:
